Hubert (フベルト, Fuberuto) is major character in Part 1 of About the Movement of the Earth series.
Biography[]
Hubert is a scholar who was arrested as a heretic for his research on the geocentric theory. He was taken in by Potocki on the pretense that he had reformed, but continued his astronomical observations with Rafal, whom he met when he was released. However, he was discovered by Novak and burned at the stake. When Novak found out about Rafal's research, Hubert took the blame and he gave his research materials to Rafal.
